Work of art- Radha Krisna series...

In the making...

Krishna is the eighth incarnation of Vishnu and the Supreme power. He had thousands of wives but his heart was Radha.

Love is being connected from the soul. That’s exactly what Radha and Krishna had. Radha and Krishna are so much in love with each other that both their names have combined to become one.

I am working on a Radha- Krisna series for my upcoming exhibition.

Works of Art- Batik

...

A stunning combination of Block Printing and Batik

Batik is a beautiful art of decorating cloth using wax and dye. It has been practiced for centuries. The word batik is believed to have originated from the Javanese word 'ambatik' which means 'a cloth with little dots'.  In Indonesia, batik is part of an ancient tradition. It is the most expressive and subtle of the resist methods.

With a wide range of techniques and tools available, contemporary artist has the opportunity to explore this unique art in exciting and flexible Experts may disagree on the exact origin of batik, but samples of such patterns on cloth have been traced back 1,500 years ago to Egypt,  Middle East, Turkey, India, China, Japan and West Africa.

Work of art- Krishna

"I am the conscience in the heart of all creatures
I am their beginning, their being, their end
I am the mind of the senses,
I am the radiant sun among lights
I am the song in sacred lore,
I am the king of deities
I am the priest of great seers…"
Gita

Terracotta speaking

Terracotta as a medium for art

Terracotta means “baked earth” in Italian…terracotta is clay that has been exposed to heat.

Terracotta was first used in prehistoric art. Paleolithic terracotta figures were fired in primitive kilns, created underneath open fires. It has been used throughout history for modeling sculpture and pottery. In the ancient times, the first clay sculptures were dried in the sun after being created. They were then placed in the ashes of open hearths to harden, and then kilns were designed very much like the ones used for pottery today.

I am an art fan and believe in the power of an artifact that can transform your day....

Works of art- Radha Krishna

Love is the highest form of devotion

Radha Krishna relationship is a love legend of all times. Krishna's passion for Radha has been a perfect model for love in different art forms. From the sixteenth century it appears beautifully as a motif especially in North Indian paintings.
